Thunderhead Equestrian Trail
A Christian-based group dedicated to equestrians EVERYWHERE, we are trail riders, and horse lovers who have a passion for the health, happiness, and overall well-being of our horses. We are actively involved in our communities, promoting education, positive training, and uncompromised safety for both horse and rider. ALL disciplines are welcome here! You do NOT need to own or ride a horse to be part of our group. Anyone who has a passion for horses is welcome!
As involved community members, we host, participate in, promote, and sponsor many charity events throughout the year including Saddle for the Red (American Red Cross) and Saddle Up for St. Jude, as well as local charities and fundraisers for people who have lost their homes due to fire or flood, are struggling with terminal illness and/or medical bills, are suffering through the sudden loss of a family member, and more! We also participate in several parades, festivals, and events in many areas, and when possible, host an informational booth to promote our group, and fundraise for various charities by selling goods donated by Thunderhead Equestrian Trail members.
Sometimes, several members in different areas will gather together into smaller groups and organize events such as trail rides, fun shows, training & playdate groups, horse-themed vacations, Church events, and other horse-related activities! We welcome and encourage this practice, and welcome your event notices, stories, and pictures on our Facebook page!
